Emma Stone is an American actress who became famous with roles in movies such as Easy A and The Amazing Spiderman. She was born Emily Jean Stone on November 6th, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone. As a child she experienced panic attacks and found that participating in theater helped to cure the issue. She took voice lessons for several years and was homeschooled for two years, during which time she acted in several plays. In 2004 Emma and her mother moved to Los Angeles to allow her to pursue an acting career. She continued her high school classes online. She gained small roles in TV shows and her film debut was in 2007 in the comedy Superbad.
