Grammar : After/When Quiz
Quiz
*Theme/Title:
After/When
* Description/Instructions
We use these words (
after
and
when
) to introduce time clauses that tell when something happens.
When
means at that moment, or at that time.
After
means after that moment.
The time clause is a dependent clause which needs an independent clause to make a complete sentence. If the time clause starts a sentence, a comma is needed to separate the two clauses.
Choose the correct word to fill in the blank.
