Physical Science : Heat Quiz
Quiz
*Theme/Title:
Heat
* Description/Instructions
Heat is energy that flows from a warm object to a cool object. When the warmer object loses heat, its temperature decreases. Heat can be measured in joules or calories. The amount of heat given off or absorbed can be calculated by the following formula:
Q (heat) = C (specific heat of substance) * m (mass in grams) * delta T (change in temperature)
This quiz will cover simple heat problems using the above formula. Specific heats will be provided. You will need a calculator, paper and pencil. Select the best answer from the choices. Good luck.
