Distributive Property of Multiplication

The Distributive Property of Multiplication states that:
A(B + C) = (A x B) + (A x C)
When you have a number out in front of a set of parentheses with no sign in between, that means to multiply that number by everything within the parenthesis. You can do this by multiplying the number by each term within the parentheses separately and then adding them together.
