Perimeter of a Rectangle

Perimeter is the distance around the outside edge of a shape. To find the perimeter of a rectangle, add up the sides.
With rectangles, because they contain two sets of equal sides, you only need one of each to find the perimeter. Just multiply the sum of the length and width by 2 to find the perimeter.
