Capitalization

Capitalize the first word in a sentence, proper nouns, including cities, states, and countries, and the names of relatives when they are used as proper names. Capitalize a title when it precedes a proper name. Capitalize the days of the week, months of the year, holidays, countries, nationalities and languages. The names of planets and named astronomical bodies should be capitalized. You should always capitalize the pronoun I.
Example: My brother called Mother to tell her he'd be late for dinner.
My sister and I were excited to meet Governor Jones at the graduation ceremony.
Robert's father is from Spain and will be traveling there on Tuesday.
