Occupations and Singular Subject Pronouns(المهنة و ضمائر القاعل المفرض)
When referring to people in Arabic there are as many as 12 different pronouns to used to do so. The pronouns are based on 3 aspects: Voice (1st person, 2nd person, and 3rd person), Gender (masc. and feminine), and Number (singular, dual (two), or plural). This article will introduce just 5 of
them; all of the Singular Subject Pronouns.
The Singular Subject Pronouns :( ضما ئر القاعل المفر ض)
The words below are a list of occupations (المهنة). Remember, the only difference between the masculine and feminine form is the addition of the taa marbuuta ة to the end.
To state ones occupation simply use the subject pronoun and the occupation, matching in gender.
