Quiz Overview

Description

The Economy of the Postclassical and Early Medieval Periods was one dominated by both agriculture and trade amongst the East and the West. This surging economy was made possible in the later Middle Ages as great populations cultivated land as never before and supplied the workforce needed to sustain new manufacturing companies, all of which expanded its influence through trade. While the Middle Ages suffered various set backs it also shows a period of developing economic markets, which would continue to flourish in the later periods of European history.
