Prime Number

A prime number is a whole number that is greater than one and has exactly two factors, 1 and itself. A composite number is a whole number that is greater than one and has more than two factors. The number 1 is neither prime nor composite. Number 2 is the only prime even number. The prime numbers less than 50:
2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47.
