Vegetarian vs. Vegan

Vegetarian – (noun) a person who does not eat meat, fish, or fowl but may eat eggs and cheese, fruits, nuts, grains, etc.

Vegan – (noun) a vegetarian who omits all animal products from the diet;

*Tip/Hint: A vegetarian won't eat any meat, but a vegetarian may eat products that come from meat sources, such as eggs. A vegan, however, will not eat any animal products at all.

Examples:

1. "Vegan recipes can be tastier than what one may imagine."

2. "A vegetarian must be careful to obtain enough iron and B12 in their diet from supplements if needed."
