Carnivores Examples

Carnivores areorganisms that need to obtain energy from food by eating another living organism that is not a plant. We often think of carnivores as animals with sharp pointed teeth. However, carnivores as a group are much broader than that. Insects that eat other insects are carnivorous and some plants are carnivorous as well. As long as the animal or plant is not eating a producer which is another plant, then we would discussing a carnivore.
