Tom Hardy is an English producer and actor well known for roles in Black Hawk Down, Lawless, and The Revenant. He was born Edward Thomas Hardy on September 15th, 1977, in Hammersmith, London, England, to Anne and Edward Hardy. He was raised in London and pursued acting at Richmond Drama School and the Drama Center London. His debut was in the miniseries Band of Brothers and his feature film debut came in 2001, when he landed a role in Black Hawk Down. Since then he has gone on to play many roles in movies and on television and is becoming known as a producer as well.
