Area of a ConeArea of a Cone
Find the surface area of a cone from its radius and slant height. The total surface area is the base area plus the lateral area.
Practice: enter the total surface area rounded to the nearest hundredth.
Formula: total surface area = πr2 + πrl = πr(r + l). The slant height is the distance from the cone's tip to the edge of the circular base.
