Area of CylinderArea of Cylinder
Find the surface area of a cylinder from its radius and height. Total area is the two circular bases plus the rectangular side wrapped around the cylinder.
Practice: enter the total surface area rounded to the nearest hundredth.
Formula: total surface area = 2πr2 + 2πrh = 2πr(r + h). Lateral area is the side surface only: 2πrh.
