Quiz
*Theme/Title: Literature, the Arts, and Influence of Religion in the Roman Empire
* Description/Instructions
Like their predecessors, the Greeks, religion and literature dominated the public and private lives of many Romans. The Roman Forum was constructed as a means to exercise both political and religious obligations and served as the center point of Roman life during this period. During this period we also see a transition in religion from polytheistic norms into an unprecedented period of Christianity, all of which happened in tumultuous settings. As a result of these political and religious transitions we see criticism from many poets of this period, while others worked tirelessly to secure their traditions and religion.
