Chrysanthemum loves her name, she thinks it is absolutely perfect. But when she starts kindergarten she starts to think otherwise. Some of Chrysanthemum's classmates are mean spirited and make fun of her name. Her parents try to repair her self esteem. With the help of a special teacher the other students will learn that Chrysanthemum's name is special.
