Gerunds and supine are non-finite verbal forms. The gerund is a verbal noun whilst the supine is a verbal noun. They are defective forms, i.e. incomplete forms, which means they do not have all the cases that correspond to a noun. The gerund and supine only are neuter and present singular forms.

Gerundium et supinum sunt fōrmae verbālēs īnfīnītae. Sunt fōrmae dēfecta quippe non habent tōtōs cāsūs. Scīs gerundium et supinum latinum? Prōba tuam scientiam!
