Algebra : Multiplying Polynomials 2 Quiz

 Quiz
 *Theme/Title:  Multiplying Polynomials 2
 * Description/Instructions
This quiz is to assess whether or not a student can multiply a binomial with another binomial using the distributive property of multiplication.

Example:
(3x + 2)(5x - 3)

Solution:
(3x + 2)(5x - 3)
= (3x)(5x) + (3x)(-3) + (2)(5x) + (2)(-3) (distributive property)
= (3)(5)(x)(x) + (3)(-3)(x) + (2)(5)(x) + (2)(-3) (commutative property)
= 15x2 + -9x + 10x + (-6) (multiplication)
= 15x2 + x - 6 (combining like terms)
